Merry Christmas Makings....

I've been busy making a few crocheted Christmas baubles.....lets just say these are very addictive! !

Christmas gift for a friend....

I'm finally able to show you a blanket i had secretly been making for my friend Ondrea over the past couple of months. ...I'm happy to say Ondrea loved it 😊

Here's a close up of the owl, as soon as I saw this CAL ( crochet-a-long ) on facebook I knew I has to make it for Ondrea as her gift this year (it just screamed Ondrea as she loves owls)....now to find another project to keep my hands busy 😊

FHF Swap....totally spoilt by Fiona! !!

 Days 1,2 &3 my gifts were Christmas cards, a pretty star button ornament and sime gorgeous smelling soap. ...totally loving this swap  😊

Day 4, 5 & 6 again totally overwhelmed by Fiona's gifts. ...a beautiful appliqued Christmas bag,  framed Christmas stitchery and a sparkly trimmed hand towel with some shabby chic bunting which will soon be hanging in my sewing room.
Thank you sooo much Fiona your gifts have certainly brightened my days leading up to the Christmas rush 😊

Sewing Room update & a couple of finishes.....

 Slowly startingto display some of my pretties....

 I found this pretty wire basket for $5  at Kmart & couldn't resist buying it for my new space...it's now storing  the cottons I use for my knitted dishcloths and soon-to-be mandalas 😊

 I couldn't resist showing you this gorgeous display cabinet again, a lucky garage sale find from a few years ago....

 Finished this pretty blanket and it's now in the gift basket....

I also finished this baby blanket for a friend from work, love these colours together 😊

A lovely weekend away...

 Last Saturday saw my sister Anne & I heading to Shez's house for a girls weekend and let me just say we had a blast!

 Look what was waiting for me when I arrived....totally spoilt and pampered! !

 it wouldnt be a proper blog post if I didn't have at least one photo of Shez taking a photo of her meal lol.....this was in Maldon.

 Not to forget Anne also being utterly spoilt by Shez as well with her goody bag 😊

 Nacho's for me ....not much in the way of leftovers from me.....especially the cheese!

 Anne's burger and salad, beautifully presented....

 Anne & I both had a good laugh at Shez attempting to grate a hard boiled egg, which caused Shez to also lose it and start laughing lol.

Me scrapping the curried egg bowl and trying not to laugh....I do love a curried egg sandwich which we had for lunch.
